Stuffed squash | Bulgur mahshi


A stuffed squash doesn't have to be always with rice. Believe it or not, this recipe we will show how to make it with bulgur


INGREDIENTS

  1. Zucchini ( x1 kg )
  2. Eggplant ( x1 piece )
  3. Sweet pepper
  4. Fine bulgur ( x1 glass )
  5. Tomato ( x1 )
  6. Cooking oil ( 0.5 glass )
  7. Pomegranate syrup ( x1 tea-spoon )
  8. Dry mint ( x1 tea-spoon )
  9. Different spices
  10. Lemon juice ( x2 lemons )
  11. Diced meat ( 250 g)
  12. Chopped and ground garlic cloves ( x4 )
  13. Maggie cube ( x1 ; flavor enhancer )


STEPS



  1. Rinse the bulgur in warm water


  2. Carefully hollow out the zucchini with a manakra


  3. To prepare the stuffing, mix the rinsed bulgur with meat, diced tomato, spices, salt and the oil


  4. Fill each hollowed zucchini with the stuffing


  5. Arrange tomato slices on the bottom of the cooker - if you have meat bones adding them will give better taste -
  6. Fill the cooker with water, pour the dry mint, and the flavor enhancer
  7. Put the stuffed zucchinis in the cooker, top them with a plate so they won't float


  8. Turn the fire on for 1 hr

  9. Good appetite
