Stuffed squash | Kusa mahshi


If you haven't tried it till now, sorry to say that but life has a missing part!!. However, we are here to guide you how to get it


INGREDIENTS:

  1. Zucchini ( 2 kg )
  2. Short grain rice ( 2 cups )
  3. Minced meat ( 1/4 kg )
  4. Pomegranate molasses ( x1 large spoon )
  5. Spices ( The Seven spices )
  6. Salt
  7. Tomato ( x1 sliced )
  8. Meat bones
  9. Tomato sauce ( x3 large spoon )
  10. Maggi cubes / flavor enhancer ( 2 cubes )
  11. Lemon ( x1 squeezed )
  12. Chopped and ground garlic cloves ( x4 )
  13. Cooking oil ( mazolla ) or ghee
  14. Green pepper ( x1 ) remove the seeds



Now lets get ready ,,


STEPS:

  1.  Rinse the rice
  2.  Carefully hollow out the zucchini from the stalk end, by turning and pushing the manakra into the flesh ( try not to break the zucchini )



  3. Prepare the stuffing:
    1. Chopped tomoato
    2. Some of the zucchini flesh
    3. Rice
    4. Meat
    5. Spices
    6. Molasses
    7. Salt
    8. Ghee





  4. Fill each hollowed zucchini with the stuffing, but leave 2 cm free on the top of each piece, so rice won't break



  5. Put the bones and arrange of the sliced tomato in the cooker
  6. Add the filled zucchinis and the green pepper as well
  7. Fill the cooker with water, sauce, lemon juice, garlic, mint, maggi
  8. Put the cooker on fire for 45 minutes
