Tomato Bulgur


Considered as one of the best traditional Syrian dishes. It is suggested for athletes since it contains huge amounts of proteins.


INGREDIENTS:

  1. Coarse bulgur ( x2 glasses )
  2. Chicken breast ( x2 )
  3. Tomato ( x1 )
  4. Tomato sauce ( x1 normal size spoon )
  5. Spices & salt
  6. Onion ( x1 )
  7. Butter
  8. Chopped mushrooms ( x4 mushrooms )


STEPS:

  1. Cook the butter in a cooker
  2. Chop the onion, tomato and the chicken and put the into the cooker


  3. Add the sauce
  4. Stir the mixture for about 7 minutes
  5. Add some water ( 1/2 glass ) and add the mushroom
  6. Add the bulgur, stir the mixture then add 4 glasses of water
  7. Add some salt and the spices


  8. Cover the cooker, on a calm fire leave it for 30 minutes
  9. Enjoy !
